Account (Address and Account Hierarchy)

(account__aln, address__aln)

An Account is the HCO or HCP. It exists to support the processes for generating or loading Account assignments and for customer reporting. Optionally, users can designate the Country to which the Account record is associated. Start and End Dates are not applicable to Account records.

Account Hierarchies are stored in the Parent HCO object. Similar to the Address object, it is a child of the Account. The standard Veeva CRM source is the Child Account object.

The objects referenced by Account are account_type__aln, specialty__aln, and country__aln.

The object referenced by Address is account__aln.

The object referenced by Parent HCO is account__aln.

Account has a list and detail view. It is accessible from the Entities tab. Account, Address, and Account Hierarchy are created and edited using the delimited import process. Each of these can be pulled into Align via the Veeva CRM Org integration import process. They are not pushed to Veeva CRM.

The Account detail view includes a related list section for:

  • Addresses - The Address object stores Postal Code and Brick as well as the traditional address fields. These fields are useful as Rule criteria.
  • Parent Accounts - The Parent HCO object stores the affiliation relationship between two Accounts. This section lists the Accounts where the current Account is the child. This data is useful as Rule criteria.
  • Child Accounts - The Parent HCO object stores the affiliation relationship between two Accounts. This section lists the Accounts where the current Account is the parent. This data is useful as Rule criteria.
  • Territory Assignments

Account displays as a related list assignment on the Territory detail view.
