Introduction

Veeva Align is a global territory management system built on the Veeva Vault platform that offers seamless integration to one or multiple Veeva CRM environments. It enables users to maintain Territory structures and their associated assignments. Territory and assignments originating from Align may be pushed to Veeva CRM to let the rep know who and what to focus on.

Align is considered the record system for Territory, Field Force, and all related assignments, such as Account to Territory assignments and the CRM user to Territory. Align maintains historical, current, and future Territory data. This allows the Align user to proactively adjust assignments, as well as identify the evolution of data for audit purposes.

Because Align is the system of record for territory management, Veeva recommends discontinuing the usage of other territory management tools within a Veeva CRM environment, for example, Veeva Zip to Terr records and/or Salesforce.com Territory Rules.
