Using Account Profiles to View and Challenge Changes

The Account Profile enables users to see details and information about a specific account in the Edit Alignments table, for example, a list of all addresses associated with the account or a consolidated list of all goals associated with the account, while also enabling users to challenge changes made to that account.

For example, Sarah Jones is reviewing future changes to her territory and decides to view the details for Dr. Ackerman, one of her accounts. After navigating to Dr. Ackerman’s account profile within Territory Feedback, Sarah reviews the channel and segment goals associated with his account and makes the appropriate challenges.

Viewing Account Profiles

To view an account’s profile:

  1. Navigate to the Territory Feedback tab.
  2. Select Edit Alignments.
  3. Select the name of the appropriate account in the Edit Alignments table.

The Account Profile modal displays the following information about the selected account:

  • Name
  • All addresses associated with the account
  • Visual indicator if the account is a target ()
  • All fields defined by the account_card fields__aln setting in Align
  • Channel and product segments and goals – This section only displays if the account is also a target
  • All product metrics for products shared between the Account and the Territory

Creating Challenges from Account Profiles

From the Account Profile modal, users can also create challenges to changes made to the account.

Creating Edit Goals Challenges

To edit an account’s goals from the Account Profile modal:

  1. Select the appropriate goal.
  2. Add or subtract to the desired amount.
  3. Repeat this process for all appropriate goals.

  4. Select the More Actions button.

  5. Select Save.
  6. Select the appropriate reason.

  7. Select Done. This dismisses the Account Profile modal and displays the Edit Alignments table, where the challenge is processed.

Challenging Account and Target Changes

To challenge account and target changes from an Account Profile:

  1. Select the More Actions button.

  2. Select the appropriate action.

    The list of available actions is dependent on the status of the account. For example, if an account is part of the user’s territory, but is not currently a target, the available actions would be Remove Account and Add Target.

  3. Select the appropriate reason.

  4. Select Done. This dismisses the Account Profile modal and displays the Edit Alignments table, where the challenge is processed.
