Introduction
Several new features are included in Veeva Align 19R1.3. This topic provides a brief explanation of each new feature and explains updates to existing features.
New Objects and New Fields are also included.
User Visible Changes
Territory Modeling
- Territory metrics now display on the assignment preview using the Display Territory Metrics toggle
- The Show Gain/Loss option on the assignment preview now displays as a toggle
Targeting
- The clone_source__aln field on the following objects now automatically populates with a reference to the appropriate source record when cloning an MC Cycle:

- mc_cycle_channel__aln
- mc_cycle_product__aln
- targeting_rule_channel__aln
- targeting_rule_product__aln
- The targeting_rule_channel_group__aln field on the mc_cycle_plan_channel__aln object automatically populates with a reference to the appropriate record if an account meets the criteria for the channel in an Assignment Preview
- The targeting_rule_product_group__aln field on the mc_cycle_plan_product__aln object automatically populates with a reference to the appropriate record if an account meets the criteria for the product in an Assignment Preview
The Geography__aln Object
The geography__aln object enables independently defined geographies. See Geography for more information.
Child Accounts in MCCPs
Child Accounts are now supported as MCCP targets. See Child Accounts in MCCPs for more information.
Clone MC Cycle Feedback
Align administrators can now clone an MC Cycle’s feedback when running an Assignment Preview on a cloned MC Cycle. See Clone MC Cycle Feedback for more information.
Addresses in Targeting Feedback
Align administrators can configure Targeting Feedback to display the addresses of the accounts on the Account Card. See Addresses in Targeting Feedback for more information.
Territory Metrics in the Assignment Preview
